  • Publication number: 20240113032
Abstract: Interconnect structure packages (e.g., through silicon vias (TSV) packages, through interlayer via (TIV) packages) may be pre-manufactured as opposed to forming TIVs directly on a carrier substrate during a manufacturing process for a semiconductor die package at backend packaging facility. The interconnect structure packages may be placed onto a carrier substrate during manufacturing of a semiconductor device package, and a semiconductor die package may be placed on the carrier substrate adjacent to the interconnect structure packages. A molding compound layer may be formed around and in between the interconnect structure packages and the semiconductor die package.

  • Patent number: 11943643
Abstract: An access point (AP) and a station (STA) communicate with each other, with the AP indicating to the STA either or both of a preamble detection (PD) channel and a signaling (SIG) content channel and with the STA being initially monitoring a primary frequency segment of a plurality of frequency segments in an operating bandwidth of the AP. A downlink (DL) or triggered uplink (UL) communication is performed between the AP and the STA during a transmission opportunity (TXOP) such that: (i) during the TXOP, the STA monitors a preamble on the PD channel and decodes a SIG content on the SIG content channel; and (ii) after an end of the TXOP, the STA switches to the primary frequency segment.

  • Publication number: 20110008772
Abstract: The present invention relates to a probe for detecting Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTBC) and Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) from clinical specimens. The method mainly comprised two steps: (1) amplifying a target DNA of the clinical specimens through nested PCR; and (2) hybridizing to the target DNA with a gold nanoparticle probe. The presence of MTB or MTBC was detected after the absorbance at 525 nm was determined with a spectrophotometer during hybridization at a defined time. Direct observation on color changes can also be detected after a longer incubating time. The merits of this assay include being easy to operate, sophisticated detection equipment is not necessary, low cost, time saving, and, high sensitivity and specificity.

  • Publication number: 20050269293
Abstract: Disclosed is a seasoning method for an etch chamber for improving the passing rate, comprising the steps of: introducing a wafer or plural control wafers into the etch chamber; introducing reacting gases into the etch chamber; applying power to top and bottom electrodes of the etch chamber to plasmarize the reacting gases; and adjusting the gate valve of the etch chamber to 90 to 100% of the fully open position, thereby reducing the amount of by-products and eliminating the factors for reducing the passing rate. The seasoning method of this invention is based on a low pressure, high flow-rate sluicing mechanism, where the atmospheric flow and high vacuuming ability would remove the maximum amount of polymer particles and flaking from the etch chamber.

  • Patent number: 6451533
Abstract: The present invention relates to a Helicobacter pylori gene, fldA, a putative flavodoxin gene and whose expression is associated with mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma of the stomach (MALToma). A G insertion at position 481 of the fldA gene was more frequently observed in strains associated with MALToma than other strains. Therefore, the present invention provides a new method to identify H. pylori patient with higher risk of developing gastric MALToma.

  • Patent number: 4396347
Abstract: A centrifugal pump and a pumping system that recover hydraulic energy in response to flow capacity reduction and spontaneously provide a recirculating flow at low capacities when pump cooling is needed. From a upstream source the fluid is guided by two suction lines to two parallel pumping mechanisms housed by a common discharge casing. Said pumping mechanisms have a combined hydraulic characteristic that the first pumping mechanism will force a reverse flow through the second pumping mechanism, when pump discharge is reduced by the system below a certain low flow rate. The reverse flow will then return to the upstream fluid source through a suction line. The pump is thereby protected from overheating by a circulating flow at low flow capacities. At the same time, said reverse flow generates a turbine action on the second pumping mechanism and transmits the contained hydraulic energy back to the rotor and thereby results in power saving at low flow capacities.
