    Abstract: A method for dereverberating audio signals is provided. In some implementations, the method involves obtaining a real acoustic impulse response (AIR); identifying a first portion of the real AIR corresponding to early reflections of a direct sound and a second portion of the real AIR that corresponding to late reflections of the direct sound; generating one or more synthesized AIRs by modifying the first portion of the real AIR and/or the second portion of the real AIR; and using the real AIR and the one or more synthesized AIRs to generate a plurality of training samples, each training sample comprising an input audio signal and a reverberated audio signal, wherein the reverberated audio signal is generated based on the input audio signal and one of the real AIR or one of the one or more synthesized AIRs, which plurality of training samples are used to train a machine learning model.

The first device determines a source coding matrix based on the first source coding rate and a channel coding basis matrix. The first device inputs a source sequence into the source coding matrix, to perform source coding on the source sequence. In embodiments of this application, the source coding matrix may be determined based on the channel coding basis matrix, which is equivalent to determining source coding information based on channel coding information, to implement joint source and channel coding. Through the joint source and channel coding, a quantity of output bits of source coding can match a quantity of input bits of channel coding, so that technical solutions in embodiments of this application can be adapted to a 5G NR system.

In prior art, a neutralization reaction of bisphenol phosphate and sodium hydroxide is firstly performed, so as to prepare bisphenol phosphate sodium salt; then a double decomposition reaction of sodium salt and inorganic aluminum salt is performed to prepare the bisphenol phosphate hydroxyl aluminum salt. The present invention combines the two-step reaction in prior art into the one-step reaction of phosphate and organic aluminum alcoholate for synthesizing the bisphenol phosphate hydroxyl aluminum salt, thereby simplifying the production process, improving the production efficiency, shortening the reaction time, and improving the product quality.

    Abstract: A system for mitigating over-suppression of speech and other non-noise signals is disclosed. In some embodiments, a system is programmed to train a first machine learning model for speech detection or enhancement using a non-linear, asymmetric loss function that penalizes speech over-suppression more than speech under-suppression. The first machine learning model is configured to receive an audio signal and generate a mask indicating an amount of speech present in the audio signal. The mask can be adjusted to remedy sharp voice decay resulting from speech over-suppression. The system is also programmed to train a second machine learning model for laughter or applause detection. The system is further programmed to improve the quality of a new audio signal by applying an adjusted mask to the new audio signal except for the portions of the audio signal that have been identified as corresponding to laughter or applause.
