  • Patent number: 10988008
Abstract: A folding top for a vehicle includes a folding top fabric for covering a vehicle interior in a closed position and opening up the vehicle interior in an open position. The folding top has an A pillar portion for mechanical connection to an A pillar of the vehicle, a C pillar portion for mechanical connection to a C pillar of the vehicle, a B pillar portion between the A pillar portion and the C pillar portion for lateral connection to a B pillar of the vehicle. A tensioning cable extends from the A pillar portion via the B pillar portion into the C pillar portion on each side of the folding top fabric in order to tension the folding top fabric in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 10532643
Abstract: A vehicle component for a motor vehicle having a rear seat device with at least one headrest and having a wind deflector device with an extendable planar element for protecting front seats of the motor vehicle against relative wind. In an extended state, the planar element extends from a region behind the headrest to a region in front of the headrest. In this context, the headrest can be pivoted by a pivoting device from a position of use, in which the headrest projects beyond a height of the planar element in the extended state, into a position of rest. In the position of rest, the headrest is arranged under the extended planar element.

  • Patent number: 9096112
Abstract: A wind deflector (10) for a vehicle has a fastening section (11) for mounting the wind deflector (10) releasably on a retainer (13) of an upper cowl (14) of the vehicle and an air-guiding section (12) for guiding the flow of air. A locking device (17) assigned to the fastening section (11) releasably locks the wind deflector (10) to the retainer (13) of the upper cowl. The locking device (17) has at least one shiftable anchor (18), an actuator (19) and a spring (20). The actuator (17) interacts with the anchor (18) so that, when the actuator (19) is not actuated, the spring (20) presses the anchor (18) into a locking position, and, when the actuator (19) is actuated, that actuator presses the anchor (18) into an unlocking position counter to a spring force of the spring (20).
