  • Publication number: 20240334297
Abstract: A method for performing channel management in a wireless communication system and associated apparatus are provided. The method may include: receiving, by the first wireless transceiver device, a channel switch request in a first communication frame from the second wireless transceiver device; and triggering a channel switch (CS) mechanism, by the first wireless transceiver device, to inform the second wireless transceiver device to switch from a first channel to a target channel, for subsequent communication of the second wireless transceiver device.

  • Patent number: 9894708
Abstract: For LTE cellular data and Wi-Fi P2P technology coexistence scenario, a user equipment can generate in-device coexistence (IDC) indication message to the base station for DRX-based IDC solution. LTE data scheduling is described by a set of DRX parameters, while Wi-Fi P2P data scheduling is described by Opportunistic Power Saving (OppoPS) and Notification of Absence (NoA) parameters. When generating the IDC indication message for Wi-Fi P2P group client (GC), the DRX parameters must be selected carefully to maximize efficiency. Even though Wi-Fi shares less time, with proper time alignment, its coexistence performance could be better. For Wi-Fi P2P group owner (GO) with IDC TDM scheduling constraints, OppoPS and NoA should be aligned with DRX parameters to achieve best performance.

  • Publication number: 20100246461
Abstract: A power saving method for a wireless access point comprises the steps of detecting whether all wireless communication devices connected to the wireless access point are legacy apparatuses; and if affirmative, retaining one antenna for operation and disabling all other antennas.
