  • Patent number: 9813193
Abstract: An error resilience method comprising: using a computer, creating and storing, in computer memory, one or more FEC filter tables for use by the FEC filter for selectively forwarding a FEC packet; selectively forwarding a request for the FEC packet through a FEC filter based on the FEC table and a dynamic packet loss level at a receiver; limiting a re-transmission request for a particular packet through the FEC filter based on a number of re-transmission requests for the particular packet; and selectively skipping a key frame request based on a number of key frame requests received from a plurality receiver devices, wherein the method is performed by one or more special-purpose computing devices.

  • Patent number: 9471095
Abstract: A fastening assembly used into a first workpiece and a second workpiece is provided. The fastening assembly includes a first engaging member, a reciprocating member and a second engaging member. The first engaging member is fixed to the first workpiece. The reciprocating member is fixed to a first side of the second workpiece and capable of reciprocally moving relative to the second workpiece. The second engaging member is connected to the reciprocating member for engaging with the first engaging member. After the fastening assembly is affected by a magnetic force from a second side of the second workpiece, the reciprocating member is shifted, and the second engaging member is separated from the first engaging member.

  • Patent number: 7452968
Abstract: A novel mammalian protein system is disclosed. This system comprises a secreted protein factor and its related membrane-bound splice variant. These novel proteins have no homology to any known protein or class or protein, yet are ubiquitously expressed in nearly all tissue types. Also disclosed are novel nucleic acids that encode the novel polypeptides of the invention. The protein system was discovered in purified populations of murine hematopoieitc stem cells. The cDNAs of the invention were cloned from a marine hematopoietic lineage negative (Lin) library.

  • Patent number: 6743694
Abstract: A new method of forming a laser mark without damage to the wafer surface is described. A pad oxide layer is formed on a silicon wafer. A nitride layer is deposited overlying the pad oxide layer. A first trench is laser cut through the nitride layer and the pad oxide layer into the silicon wafer. The trench is etched to a second depth wherein the nitride layer is used as a hard mask and wherein the trench forms an identification mark.
