  • Patent number: 9642225
Abstract: A voice-controlled lighting control system includes a voice-processing device, a lighting control device and a lighting module. The lighting control device is connected to the voice-processing device and the lighting module. The voice-processing device is built in with multiple voice fingerprints and multiple error-tolerant voice fingerprints. During operation, users utter a voice command to the voice-processing device, the voice-processing device compares the received voice command with the voice fingerprints or the error-tolerant voice fingerprints, and sends a control signal to the lighting control device to instruct the lighting module to emit light when finding that the voice command falls within a biometric match threshold of one of the voice fingerprints or the error-tolerant fingerprints. Given the double voice recognition using the voice fingerprints and the error-tolerant voice fingerprints, the precision in recognizing the voice command is enhanced and voice control over lighting can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 8956001
Abstract: A candle holder with candle light activated illumination has a base and a candle seat mounted on the base. A circuit board and an optical controller are mounted on the base. A driver and an LED lamp set are mounted on the circuit board. The optical controller activates the circuit board after sensing candle light. The candle seat is located above the circuit board, and has a light guide strip being inverted L-shaped with one end thereof radially exposed from an inner wall adjacent to a top opening of the candle seat and the other end downwardly extending into the candle seat and having a cap connected with the optical controller. Given the foregoing structure, melting wax of the candle cannot easily flow into the candle seat through the light guide strip to damage the circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20110069487
Abstract: The present invention relates to an LED light bulb. The LED light bulb comprises a base and a hollow shell. The base has a closed end, an open end and a sleeve between the two ends. The shell is connected to the open end of the base. The LED light bulb comprises at least two LEDs substantially linearly arranged within the shell. By arrangement of multiple LEDs one or more strands the luminance or brightness of the bulb is improved compared with a bulb with one LED or with several horizontally arranged LEDs in a common place, without sacrificing the advantage of energy saving.

  • Publication number: 20080239758
Abstract: A snap-in lamp for an electric light string includes a lamp base housing a light bulb and a lamp holder. The lamp base is removably and frictionally housed in the lamp holder. The light bulb has a filament that illuminates the light bulb when electrical current passes through the filament. The light bulb filament is connected to a bottom portion of the lamp base by a pair of opposed lead wires. The lamp holder is dimensioned to frictionally receive and removably house the lamp base. The lamp holder includes a metal conductor strap and a non-conductive strap holder that provide a path for the continued flow of current through the lamp even when the lamp base is removed from the lamp holder. The lamp is more useful than conventional lamps by virtue of the ability to preserve the closed circuit even when one or more lamp bases are removed from their respective lamp holders.
