    Abstract: In one aspect, the disclosure relates to a mode of asymmetric induction in radical processes based on sequential combination of enantiodifferentiative H-atom abstraction and stereoretentive radical substitution. Also disclosed is an asymmetric system for stereoselective synthesis of strained 5-membered cyclic sulfamides via radical 1,5-C—H amination of sulfamoyl azides. The disclosed metalloradical system can control the degree and sense of asymmetric induction in the catalytic radical C—H amination in a systematic manner. The disclosed system is applicable to a broad scope of substrates with different types of C(sp3)—H bonds and exhibits reactivity and selectivity, providing access to both enantiomers of useful 5-membered cyclic sulfamides in a highly enantioenriched form. Also disclosed are catalysts useful in these processes.     Abstract: According to the present invention, there is provided a gamma camera system for brain SPECT imaging including slanted detectors with slanted hole collimators and a special hood-shaped head support device. The present invention eliminates the need for radial detector motion and therefore for collision sensing devices and safety related circuitry as required in prior art gamma cameras. Furthermore, the design and shape of the present invention reduces the necessary camera setup procedure, thereby improving camera workflow and output. The present invention's hood-shaped head support encapsulates the patient's head, preventing long hair from being entangled with the detectors while providing increased patient safety and comfort. Furthermore, the hood gently restrains the patients head, leading to less patient movement and improved image quality. In addition the hood enables very close detector proximity to the patient's head leading to further improvements in image quality.

    Abstract: A method for extending the lifetime of cached web pages. In multi-user environments, as for example in networks, that require the display of personalized information for each client served, regeneration has been required for even the simplest of changes. This regeneration can become an excessive burden on heavily loaded web servers and can cause major, unacceptable performance degradation. Methods are disclosed herein for significantly reducing the incidence of required regeneration of cached pages in such systems. The load on the server is reduced by moving much of the regeneration of information pages to the clients that become the systems responsible for generating most of the personalization modifications. Differences between cached versions can be abridged with client-side scripts, so only one master cache version, instead of multiple minor variation versions, need to be generated on the server, resulting in high cache efficiency and server performance.

For fat subjects, the pair is moved away (13) from the axis, and for thin subjects it is moved towards it. It is shown that to avoid detector displacement interfering with tomography computation, it suffices merely to change computation parameters in the reconstruction algorithm.
