Abstract: A method and apparatus in a data processing system for data content retrieval comprises steps and methods for receiving a user request; generating a first query according to the user request; querying a first database using the first query to generate a first query request; generating a second query according to the first query request; querying a second database using the second query to generate a second query request; and responding to the user request with a response according to the second query request. The method and apparatus further comprises steps and methods for filtering the second query request to generate the response, where the filtering of the second query request is according to relevance to the intent of the user request and where the second query request is filtered according to a device type.
