  • Patent number: 10599257
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a touch screen controller including input circuitry operating a touch screen, and processing circuitry cooperating with the input circuitry to acquire mutual touch data and self touch data from the touch screen, sum values of the mutual touch data to produce mutual sums, normalize the mutual sums and the self touch data, and calculate differences between the normalized self touch data and the normalized mutual sums. The touch screen controller enters into a floating mode if a largest difference that is positive is greater than a positive difference threshold and if a smallest difference value that is negative is less than a negative difference threshold, but enters a non-floating mode if the largest difference that is positive is less than the positive difference threshold or if the smallest difference value that is negative is less than the negative difference threshold.

  • Patent number: 10209828
Abstract: A system and method for multi-touch integrity sensing for a multi-touch capacitive touch screen determines a distinction between wanted touches, such as via a finger or stylus, and unwanted touches such as via foreign matter, errors, and the like. Mutual capacitance and self-capacitance sensing data is collected and processed to identify reference strengths and detection thresholds. If differences between mutual/self-capacitance strength and the corresponding reference strengths exceed the corresponding detection thresholds, then the touch is classified as an unwanted (for example, water) touch.

  • Publication number: 20070039595
Abstract: A method to improve combustion in an internal combustion engine, comprising a first step of installing an air intake device fitted onto a T-Joint leading to the intake manifold of the internal combustion engine, for intake of additional air from the surrounding for improved intake of air into the internal combustion engine; and a second step of installing a fuel in-line device by connecting it to a fuel line from the fuel tank to the internal combustion engine. An air intake device and a fuel in-line device is also proposed.
