    Abstract: The invention relates to a data transmission module which comprises a first central processing unit CPU1 (1), a first memory unit (3) interacting with the CPU1 (1) and comprising a multi-layer operating system (SI, 52, S3), a transceiver (2) for the wireless data exchange with a network comprising a plurality of additional transceivers. The transceiver (2) comprises a predetermined data transmission protocol which requires identification data for identifying a user in the network, said data being stored in a second memory unit (5) in a counterfeit-proof manner. The module finally comprises a first interface (6), adapted to establish a plug-in connection, for connection to a peripheral device.
