  • Publication number: 20080302977
Abstract: A light emitting module for producing a visible light by passive ultraviolet excitation includes an excitation light source member and at least one layer of wavelength modulation matrix. The excitation light source member produces an ultraviolet light with a specific wavelength range. The wavelength modulation matrix adopts an organic polymer as a carrier, and the carrier adds a composite material composed of an organic wavelength modulation material, a quantum dot luminescence color rendering modulation material and a nanoparticle brightness enhancement luminescence powder, and the composite material is cured and formed by coating, injection molding, thin film lamination, screen printing or thick film printing, so that when the wavelength modulation matrix is projected by an ultraviolet light beam emitted by the excitation light source member, a light including a visible light is produced.

  • Publication number: 20070080358
Abstract: There is provided a white light emitting device including a light emitting chip, which can emit a first light having a wavelength between 340 nm and 495 nm; an organic phosphor layer, which is formed by applying an organic polymer on the output surface of the light emitting chip using coating, screen printing, offset printing, sputtering, dripping, casting, adhering, or vacuum evaporation method; and an encapsulation layer embedded with a plurality of nanograde crystalline grains, which encloses the light emitting chip and the organic phosphor layer, wherein the first light emitted from the light emitting chip can excite the organic phosphor layer, which subsequently emits a second light having a wavelength between 530 nm and 580 nm, and the second light and the first light are mixed within the encapsulation layer to produce a white light with excellent color uniformity and color rendering outwards from the encapsulation layer.
