  • Patent number: 10891727
Abstract: An automated airfield ground lighting inspection system and method is disclosed. An image acquisition means captures image streams of the airfield ground lighting system lights when moved across an airfield. A location sensor detects positional information for the image acquisition means when capturing the plurality of images comprising the image streams. An image processor coupled to the image acquisition means and the location sensor processes the image stream of a light of the airfield ground lighting system by: (a) associating characteristics of a plurality of points in an image with an item in the light to be checked, and using this association for extraction of the points; (b) verifying each extracted point; and (c) determining the state of the light of the image stream by processing the verified extracted points comprising an item to be checked.

  • Patent number: 9356843
Abstract: Systems and methods for process flow tracking are presented. In one embodiment, a flow method comprises collecting records associated with flow for post analysis; performing a flow connection process associated with the flow, wherein the flow connection process examines information in a hash table and connects flow segments based upon connect ID; and performing a presentation process in which the flow is visualized, searched and traversed. In one exemplary implementation, a flow connection process utilizes a hash table that draws a correlation between the connect ID and a connect-start record or a connect-end record.

  • Patent number: 9114714
Abstract: A portable high voltage charging apparatus (HVCA) can be configured to controllably charge a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) traction battery using energy provided by a low voltage (LV) lead acid vehicle battery. An HVCA can include a DCDC converter configured to boost a lower input voltage from the LV battery to a higher output voltage provided to the HV battery. The HVCA can be configured with a traction battery interlock, allowing offline charging of the traction battery. In an example embodiment, an HVCA can be configured to communicate with an HV battery control module via a CAN bus. An HVCA can be configured to transfer energy to the HV battery for a predetermined time period, then automatically stop the transfer process. An HVCA can be configured to receive user input to start and/or stop a charging process. An example embodiment can include a supplemental charger to boost LV battery voltage.
