  • Patent number: 11123072
Abstract: The present invention provides a tissue closure device, comprising: a first clamping base and a second clamping base which may be opened/closed relatively and form an accommodation cavity after being closed; and a pouch assembly which may be driven to move in the accommodation cavity, wherein: the pouch assembly comprises a staple pusher, a pair of needle heads movably connected to the staple pusher, and a connection portion connected to the proximal ends of the pair of needle heads; and when the staple pusher moves from the proximal end to the distal end, the pair of needle heads pushes a tubular tissue located in the accommodation cavity to the distal end until the distal ends of the pair of needle heads are closed to close the tubular tissue into a purse string. A bundled purse string with a gathered center may be formed through the tissue closure device.

  • Patent number: 10327770
Abstract: A linear cutting stapler comprising an upper jaw and a lower jaw capable of being closed or open relative to each other. The upper jaw includes an anvil and the lower jaw includes a staple cartridge frame. The proximal end of the anvil is provided with a positioning pin or a pin slot, and the proximal end of the staple cartridge frame is configured with a pin slot or a positioning pin. Wherein, the pin slot is engaged with said positioning pin, and the positioning pin comprises a first slot position and a second slot position relative to the pin slot. After the upper jaw and the lower jaw are open, the positioning pin is held in the second slot position, by this time the operator can lift up the whole stapler by holding upper jaw or lower jaw, which is convenient for re-locating the tissue and simplifies the operations.

  • Patent number: 10070864
Abstract: A loading unit assembly used for a linear surgical stapler, which includes a staple cartridge frame and a knife driver beam. The knife driver beam has a movable safety block defined on a surface of a proximal end thereof, and a protrusion is correspondingly defined on the staple cartridge frame. When the loading unit assembly is at its initial position, a front surface at a distal end of the safety block engages with the protrusion to stop a movement of the knife driver beam and the safety block. When the loading unit assembly is at its working position, the safety block is relatively separated from the protrusion.

  • Patent number: 9861363
Abstract: A linear surgical stapler includes upper and lower jaws, a staple cartridge arranged at a distal end of the lower jaw, a firing piece movably arranged relative to the staple cartridge, and a cutter advancer having a cutter. The firing piece and the cutter advancer are kept relatively still. The linear surgical stapler also includes a lower safety block having a raised stopper. When the linear surgical stapler is in an initial state without loading the staple cartridge, at least a part of the raised stopper is arranged on the movement path of the firing piece. The safety mechanism of the linear surgical stapler is structurally simple, convenient to process, also safe and reliable.

  • Publication number: 20170354413
Abstract: A stapling head assembly of a suturing and cutting apparatus for endoscopic surgery includes a cartridge, a cartridge support detachably connected to the cartridge, an actuating block including an unlocking component set movably in the cartridge, a cutter, and a lockout mechanism. The cutter is adapted to move longitudinally along the cartridge, between a first position and a second position. The mechanism includes a lockout block set in said cartridge support and transversely movable with respect to the support between third and fourth positions, and a flexible component set between the support and the lockout block and actuating the lockout block to move from the third to the fourth positions. When the flexible component is under compression, the cutter can move from the first to the second positions. After the actuating block is actuated, the lockout block moves to the fourth position under action of the flexible component.

  • Patent number: 9700315
Abstract: A linear cutting stapler includes an upper jaw and a lower jaw capable of closing or opening relative to each other. A staple cartridge is disposed at a distal end of the lower jaw. The lower jaw is U-shaped, and has a staple driving rod and a blade driving rod slidably disposed therein. The linear cutting stapler further includes a safety mechanism which includes an engagement member. A notch fitting the engagement member is disposed on a bottom surface of the staple driving rod. The safety mechanism further includes a floating block which is displaceable in the lower jaw in an up-down direction perpendicular to the length direction of the lower jaw. When the floating block is pressed against the staple cartridge or an anvil, a top end of the engagement member is driven to displace in the up-down direction, thus the engagement member is separated from the notch.

  • Publication number: 20170000484
Abstract: Disclosed is a linear cutting stapler comprising an upper jaw and a lower jaw capable of being closed or open relative to each other. Said upper jaw includes an anvil and said lower jaw includes a staple cartridge frame. The proximal end of said anvil is provided with a positioning pin, and the proximal end of said staple cartridge frame is configured with a pin slot; or, the proximal end of said staple cartridge frame is provided with a positioning pin, and the proximal end of said anvil is configured with a pin slot. Wherein, said pin slot comprises a first slot position and a second slot position which are engaged with said positioning pin, and, said first slot position and said second slot position are partially combined and arranged in an angle with each other. When said upper jaw and said lower jaw rotate from closed state to open state with said positioning pin as a support shaft, said positioning pin actively rotates from said first slot position to said second slot position in which it gets stuck.

  • Patent number: 9381017
Abstract: A linear surgical stapler includes upper and lower jaws, an anvil and a cartridge respectively mounted on opposite far ends of the upper and lower jaws, a handle portion, a slider, and a button base relatively fixed to the slider. The lower jaw therein includes a staple drive bar and a cutter pusher. The slider is mounted with the button base. Each lateral side of the button base is pivotally associated with an operation button which is rotatable between a first status where an operating surface of the operation button is perpendicular to an axis of the linear surgical stapler, and a second status where the operating surface of the operation button is parallel to the axis of the linear surgical stapler. Since the operation buttons can be simultaneously collapsed adjacent to the jaws, the profile of the whole instrument and the packaging costs can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20130264370
Abstract: A linear cutting stapler comprises: an upper jaw and a lower jaw (5) capable of closing or opening relative to each other. A staple cartridge (51) is disposed at a distal end of the lower jaw (5). The lower jaw (5) is U-shaped, and has a staple driving rod (3) and a blade driving rod (4) slidably disposed therein. The linear cutting stapler further comprises a safety mechanism. The safety mechanism comprises an engagement member. A notch fitting the engagement member is disposed on a bottom surface of the staple driving rod (3). The safety mechanism further comprises a floating block (1). The floating block (1) may perform longitudinal displacement in the lower jaw (5). When the floating block (1) is pressed against the staple cartridge (51) or an anvil (6), a top end of the engagement member is driven to perform longitudinal displacement, so that the engagement member is separated from the notch. The linear cutting stapler has a simple structure, is easy to be fabricated, and is safe and reliable.
