  • Patent number: 8351657
Abstract: The invention relates to a method, which comprises the capturing of image data representing a physical object using an electronic device. First visual objects are determined in the image data. Second objects are determined among the first visual objects. Position information is determined for the second visual objects within the physical object. Third visual object are obtained based on the position information from object data storage. The third visual objects are matched to the first visual objects and differences between third visual objects and the first visual object are indicated to a user.

  • Patent number: 7659913
Abstract: A system and method for displaying information about video/audio clips that are being edited. When two different clips are being matched, or when one clip is being used to replace another clip, the first clip is shown on a first timeline in a normal form. The other clip is arranged in a separate timeline to overlap with the first clip. The user is provided with the ability to easily move both clips with an input device. For individual frames that overlap, one frame is at least partially transparent so that user can see both frames at the same time.

  • Publication number: 20080295035
Abstract: A method includes determining user interface data based at least on a projection of visual element information from a projector at a first location in a three-dimensional space onto a screen object defined in the space. The screen object forms at least a portion of a user interface. The method includes determining an area of the screen object viewable by a camera positioned in a second location in the three dimensional space, and communicating the user interface data corresponding to the area to a display interface suitable for coupling to one or more displays. Apparatus and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20070260634
Abstract: A system, media device, method and computer program product are provided that synchronize the presentation of a secondary media content to the presentation of a primary media content. As the primary media content is presented, one or more feature vectors are extracted from the primary media content. The extracted feature vectors are compared to plurality of feature vectors that were previously extracted from the primary media content to determine which of the previously extracted feature vector matches the extracted feature vector. Each of the plurality of previously extracted feature vectors is associated with a timestamp corresponding to the temporal location of each feature vector within the primary media content. The start time for the secondary media content may then be set based on the timestamp of the matching previously extracted feature vector, and the presentation of the secondary media content may begin at the determined start time.

  • Publication number: 20060271558
Abstract: A method and associated device, system, and computer program product for performing metadata-based searches of data files using particularly but not necessarily a small display and a limited user interface. In the method a user of the device selects at least one data item, which is stored in the memory of the device. The device calculates a distance between said selected data item and at least one data item of said plurality of data items, which distance is relative to the similarity of the meta-data between the selected data item and said plurality of data items. Finally the device then provides a visual symbol of said selected data item and the most similar data items of said plurality of data items on the display of the device.
