  • Patent number: 10697860
Abstract: A predictive failure system for a cooling apparatus having sensors measuring operational components of a cooling apparatus to determine performance data and means to analyze the data to determine a performance profile, wherein anomalies in the performance profile are determined and the operator of the cooling apparatus is warned prior to failure of the operational components.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 5, 2019
Date of Patent: June 30, 2020
    Assignee: POLAR CONTROLLER, INC.
    Inventor: Kaleb Zeringue

  • Patent number: 10197992
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the monitoring of a cooling device. More specifically, the methods and apparatus for measuring efficiency of a cooling unit. Monitoring may be done through measurement of the electrical use of the cooling unit and additional environmental variables. This measurement may create a profile for the cooling unit that may be compared to historical performance of the unit itself, the expected performance of the same model or similar model, as well as a combination of both. These measurements may be used to create predictive analysis for expected future performance. These measurements may be used for comparison to the performance of a malfunctioning unit. These measurements may be used to determine when the unit is performing outside the expected range and therefore malfunctioning.

  • Publication number: 20160223237
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatus for viewing electronic information gathered and transmitted by a predictive failure device. More specifically, the present disclosure presents methods and apparatus for viewing processed data related to the performance of a cooling unit. In some embodiments, the predictive failure interfacing device may provide current and continuous data from a cooling device and/or components thereof to a user. In some aspects, the interface may further prompt and allow a user to request actions based on the predictive failure information.
