Each magnetic device may include a magnet and be configured to be secured to tissue. A first portion of the plurality of magnetic devices may be configured to be transorally inserted into the patient and secured to a first wall of the stomach, and a second portion of the plurality of magnetic devices may be configured to be transorally inserted into the patient and secured to a second wall of the stomach. The first and second portions may be configured to be magnetically joined together to draw the first and second walls of the stomach towards each other.
