    Abstract: A process is provided for applying multi-component composite coating compositions to substrates to provide sound damping and print-through resistance. The process includes applying at least one first coating composition to a surface of the substrate; applying at least one second coating composition over the first; and curing one or both of the first and second compositions, thereby forming a multi-layered coated substrate. The coating compositions may be applied by a method selected from spraying, extruding, brushing, and/or dipping.
