  • Patent number: 10405105
Abstract: A micro electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) microphone includes a first back plate positioned on top of a first moving plate, wherein the first moving plate flexes in response to changes in air pressure caused by audio signals. The MEMS microphone also includes a valve comprising a valve moving plate, wherein a first end of the valve moving plate is fixedly attached to a MEMS die and the valve moving plate flexes in response to high sound pressure levels such that a second end of the valve moving plate enables airflow to prevent audio signal distortion.

  • Publication number: 20180007328
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and techniques to adapt an image to a gaze vector of a user or project content based on a distance between an appendage of a user and a at least a portion of a projected image. The system can include a projector to project an image and a camera to capture an image. The system can determine a gaze vector of a user and adapt the projected image based on the gaze vector. Additionally, the system can determine a distance between an appendage of the user and the projected image and project content based on the distance.

  • Publication number: 20170188138
Abstract: An apparatus for audio beamforming with distance and environmental information is described herein. The apparatus includes a microphone or a plurality of microphones, a distance detector, a delay detector, and a processor. The distance detector is to determine a distance of an audio source from the apparatus. The delay is calculated based on the distance determined by the distance detector. The delay is determined for each of the microphones. Additionally, the processor is to perform audio beamforming of audio from the microphone array combined with a microphone specific delay applied to the audio signals from the microphones.
