  • Patent number: 10554332
Abstract: Automated power conversion device operation and status data is received in a local terminal device. The operation and status data is forwarded from the local device to a remote device via a communications network. The remote device receives the operation and status data, and compares the received automated power conversion device operation and status data with automated power conversion device history data stored in a memory. Based on the comparing, the remote device generates a service recommendation for the automated power conversion device, Based on the generating, the remote device transmits the service recommendation to the local device via the communications network. The service recommendation is received in the local device. The local device displays the received service recommendation in to the user of the local device.

  • Patent number: 10375208
Abstract: A method comprises storing, in an automated power conversion device, operational information on the usage of the automated power conversion device, and information on user-adjustable parameter settings of the automated power conversion device. A local terminal device receives the operational information and the information on the user-adjustable parameter settings from the automated power conversion device, and forwards said information to a remote network node via a communications network. The received information is analyzed in the remote network node, and based on the analysis the remote network node generates a recommendation on an optimal set of user-adjustable parameters regarding the automated power conversion device. The generated recommendation is transmitted from the remote network node and received in the local terminal device.

  • Publication number: 20170272203
Abstract: Automated power conversion device operation and status data is received (205) in a local terminal device (105). The operation and status data is forwarded (206) from the local device (105) to a remote device (109) via a communications network. The remote device (109) receives (207) the operation and status data, and compares (207) the received automated power conversion device operation and status data with automated power conversion device history data stored in a memory. Based on the comparing, the remote device generates (207) a service recommendation for the automated power conversion device (101). Based on the generating, the remote device (109) transmits (208) the service recommendation to the local device (105) via the communications network. The service recommendation is received (209) in the local device (105). The local device (105) displays (209) the received service recommendation in to the user of the local device (105).

  • Patent number: 7408791
Abstract: A frequency converter assembly comprising a direct-voltage circuit and brake chopper means, the direct-voltage circuit including a first branch (DC+) and a second branch (DC?), and the brake chopper means including a first terminal (BRK+), a second terminal (BRK?), a brake chopper switch (S1) and control means (2). The brake chopper switch (S1) is arranged in its closed position to provide a braking connection, in which the first branch (DC+) is electrically connected to the first terminal (BRK+) and the second branch (DC?) is electrically connected to the second terminal (BRK?). The assembly is provided with a first operating state where the control means (2) are arranged to control the brake chopper switch (S1) selectively to the closed position and the open position in response to the desired power supply direction of the direct-voltage circuit.
