  • Patent number: 12335939
Abstract: A first method comprises transmitting data (83) of a first kind during a first part of a first time slot (ti1) of a plurality of time slots (ti1-ti4) of equal length according to a regular slot schedule, transmitting a preamble (84) in a second part of the first time slot, and transmitting data of the second kind during one or more mini-slots of a first part of a second time slot (ti2) of the time slots according to a mini-slot schedule. The second time slot succeeds the first time slot and the first part of the second time slot comprises a plurality of mini-slots (85). A second method comprises receiving the data of the first kind during the first part of the first time slot, receiving the preamble in the first time slot, and receiving data during a plurality of the mini-slots of the second time slot.

  • Publication number: 20250193085
Abstract: A system for performing simulations on a digital twin (1) of a telecommunication network is configured to determine a assessment accuracy with respect to one or more performance indicators and/or determine a maximum assessment duration, select a simulation model (13-15,23-25,33-35,43-45) for each of a plurality of components (3-8) of the digital twin based on at least one of the minimum assessment accuracy and the maximum assessment duration, assemble the selected simulation models (13,14,23,33,43) into the digital twin, and perform the simulations on the digital twin.

  • Publication number: 20250039731
Abstract: A method includes determining (401) information relating to each of a plurality of devices and transmitting (403) the information to cause a data flow to be requested with one or more quality-of-service requirements and the admittance of the data flow with the one or more quality-of-service requirements to be decided upon based on the information. The plurality of devices includes a first device which includes a first wireless receiver and a second device which includes a second wireless receiver. The method further comprises obtaining (405) a first signal received by the first wireless receiver over a data radio bearer associated with the data flow, obtaining (407) a second signal received by the second wireless receiver over the data radio bearer or over a further data radio bearer associated with a further data flow and extracting (409) data from the first and second signals by aggregating the first and second signals.

  • Publication number: 20240388956
Abstract: A device (1) for transmitting data over a data radio bearer associated with a first data flow is configured to determine one or more quality-of-service requirements of one or more applications and create a request specifying the one or more quality-of-service requirements to admit a group of at least two data flows with one or more joint quality-of-service requirements. The group of data flows comprises the first data flow. The device is further configured to transmit (251) the request to a system (41) for establishing data flows. receive (257), from the system for establishing data flows, a response indicating whether the request has been accepted or rejected, and transmit (263) data to a base station (21) over the data radio bearer associated with the first data flow if the request has been accepted.

  • Patent number: 11792840
Abstract: A first method comprises transmitting (101) a preamble in a first time interval in a first frequency resource, transmitting (103) a first portion or a first copy of data in the first frequency resource in a second time interval, and transmitting (105) a second portion or second copy of the data in a second frequency resource in the second time interval. The second time interval succeeds the first time interval and the second frequency resource is separate from the first frequency resource. A second method comprises listening (111) for transmission of a preamble, transmitting (115) data in a second time interval succeeding a first time interval upon determining that the preamble was not received in the first time interval, and refraining (113) from transmitting data in the second time interval upon determining that the preamble was received in the first time interval.

  • Patent number: 11646833
Abstract: A method comprises listening (151) for transmission of a preamble by a transmitting device to a recipient and receiving (153) data in a second time interval upon receiving the preamble in a first time interval. The second time interval succeeds the first time interval. The method further comprises listening (155) for transmission by the recipient of a message, e.g. a NACK, indicating that data transmitted in the second time interval was not successfully received by the recipient and retransmitting (157) the data in a fourth time interval upon receiving the message in a third time interval.

  • Publication number: 20230028383
Abstract: A system is configured to obtain an estimated degree of interference for each of a plurality of beams. The estimated degrees of interference are determined based on properties of received signals transmitted by a transmitter in the first cell using the plurality of beams. The signals have been received by mobile devices while in the serving area of at least one second cell. The system is further configured to take a decision, based on the estimated degrees of interference, whether to avoid usage of one or more beams and/or whether to adjust one or more beams, which are transmitted in a spectrum shared by the cells, determine a set of beams in accordance with the decision, and cause the transmitter to use the set of beams to transmit wireless signals to mobile devices in the first cell.
