    Abstract: Methods and systems for a display device having a touch panel are provided. In one aspect, the display device may comprise a sensor glass for sensing a touch and providing a touch input signal; a touch panel controller that includes a touch panel integrated circuit (IC) coupled to the sensor glass and a first low voltage source; and a display assembly that includes an isolator that couples the touch panel IC to the display assembly, with the isolator electrically isolating the touch panel IC from the display assembly. In another aspect, the display device includes a touch panel controller that receives a touch input signal from a sensor glass and provides touch information.
