  • Publication number: 20210397096
Abstract: A method for fabricating a flexographic printing plate for printing image patterns including one or more uniform image regions includes defining a repeating tile having a plurality of different feature shapes positioned in a pattern of pseudo-random feature locations. A plate formation pattern corresponding to the image pattern is determined wherein the repeating tile is applied in a tiled arrangement to the uniform image regions. The plate formation pattern is used to form a flexographic printing plate, wherein regions of the flexographic printing plate corresponding to the uniform image regions of the image pattern include a pattern of raised features in positions corresponding to the feature positions in the repeating tile.

  • Patent number: 8091762
Abstract: A wire is bonded to a target surface using a rotary bond head by positioning a wedge bonding tool of the bond head over the target surface. A camera system is tilted at an oblique angle relative to an arrangement of the bond head to conduct pattern recognition of bonding points on the target surface for determining actual positions of the bonding points and an orientation between the actual positions of first and second bonding points. The bond head is moved to the actual position of the first bonding point and rotated to the determined orientation. Thereafter, the wire is bonded to the target surface at the first bonding point with the bond head.

  • Publication number: 20070120865
Abstract: A method and system are provided for managing a multi-threaded process invoking an OpenGL32 command to an OpenGL32 library. Each command requires rendering context as a parameter for access to the library. A manager is provided in conjunction with a table to store rendering context. Each rendering context in the table is assigned an identifier. A thread issuing an OpenGL32 command with an identifier associated with rendering context is passed through to the OpenGL32 library. Similarly, for an OpenGL32 command presented to the manager without an identifier associated therewith, rendering context is created and stored in the table with an associated identifier.

  • Patent number: 5252453
Abstract: A process is disclosed of accelerating the preparation of a photographic emulsion containing tabular silver halide grains exhibiting a reduced degree of total grain dispersity. A dispersing medium is provided containing bromide ions, and a population of silver halide grain nuclei containing parallel twin planes is formed in the dispersing medium. A portion of the grain nuclei are ripened out, and then the silver halide grain nuclei containing parallel twin planes remaining are grown to form tabular silver halide grains. A polyalkylene oxide containing both hydrophilic and lipophilic block units is selected from among those known to be capable of reducing total grain dispersity when present during nucleation. However, in this process precipitation is accelerated while maintaining low dispersity of the total grain population by forming twin planes in the grain nuclei within the pAg and temperature boundaries of Curve A in FIG.
