  • Publication number: 20240062228
Abstract: The present disclosure presents a system and method for determining Consumer Surplus Factor for a brand. The disclosed system and methods uses various techniques to counter the effect of spikes in data due to promotional activities, effects of multicollinearity among other things and also discloses a means for automatically determining the best possible models for computing Consumer Surplus Factor. The disclosed system and method use novel means of combining few known techniques which have been modified and integrated with additional novel steps to determine Consumer Surplus Factor. Beneficially, Consumer Surplus Factor can help in determining, without limitation, a pricing head room, maximum price a brand can charge, the optimal price to be charged and market share potential.

  • Publication number: 20240062231
Abstract: The present disclosure presents a system and method for determining market Share Potential for a brand in a competitive market. The disclosed system and methods also teach the determination of optimum price for a brand as well. The present invention uses Consumer Surplus Factor for the same, thereby countering the effect of spikes in data due to promotional activities, effects of multicollinearity among other things. Further, the disclosed system and method automatically update the price of the products of the brand based on the market share potential and optimum price. Beneficially, the present disclosure can help businesses to make informed decisions from consumer's perspective so as to increase their market share and earn better profits and gives an opportunity for business owners to take data driven decisions all along maintaining their competitive advantage over other brands.

  • Patent number: 10536775
Abstract: An auditory signal processor includes a filter bank generating frequency components of a source audio signal; a spatial localization network operative in response to the frequency components to generate spike trains for respective spatially separated components of the source audio signal; a cortical network operative in response to the spike trains to generate a resultant spike train for selected spatially separated components of the source audio signal; and a stimulus reconstruction circuit that processes the resultant spike train to generate a reconstructed audio output signal for a target component of the source audio signal. The cortical network incorporates top-down attentional inhibitory modulation of respective spatial channels to produce the resultant spike train for the selected spatially separate components of the source audio signal, and the stimulus reconstruction circuit employs convolution of a reconstruction kernel with the resultant spike train to generate the reconstructed audio output.
