Abstract: A power control unit is provided that is configured to generate a supply voltage control signal for controlling a supply voltage of a radar power amplifier, which is configured to receive an input signal and to output a radar transmit signal. The power control unit is configured to receive a first information signal indicative of a transmit power of the radar transmit signal and a second information signal indicative of timing information of the input signal, and generate the supply voltage control signal such that the supply voltage of the radar power amplifier is set to a supply voltage value for a duration of time.
