Abstract: Aggregation of computing device settings is disclosed. In embodiments, at least one tile is generated for display. The tile represents a system setting and a status of the system setting. The tile also includes one or more user-selectable elements that are selectable to adjust an aspect of the system setting. In addition, the tile is displayed and is presentable in different user interfaces with one or more aspects of the tile differing between two or more of the different user interfaces.

Abstract: Systems and methods for enabling users to roam between networking environments are disclosed. In one embodiment, different machine settings may be stored in a memory for different network locations under separate network profiles. In another embodiment, these and other settings may be automatically adjusted upon entering a different location. In one such embodiment, a logical network may be employed to determine which settings are adjusted. Another aspect relates to a graphical user interface to implement the above and other methods of adapting a computing device to different network locations. In one embodiment, a graphical use interface may allow the use to modify which application and which aspects of those applications are displayed on the menu. In still yet another embodiments, a memory can update a network profile as the changes occur. In still yet further embodiments, the user may derive or otherwise create new network profiles from existing network profiles.

Abstract: A system, a method and computer-readable media for presenting video content within a web page. A client computer receives a web page over a network. The web page includes an item of script for use in presenting requested video content within the web page. Executing this item of script establishes a connection with a video player provider. Using this connection, video player code is loaded from the video player provider. This code is utilized to present the video player within the web page. The video player may present the requested video to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a readily discoverable, consolidated UI of frequently modified system settings are provided. In one aspect, systems and methods may be deployed to efficiently adjust mobile settings. In one embodiment, tiles configured to represent the an application and further having at least one icon, the status of the application, and a user-selectable display element, such as a button, for positioning within each tile are produced, wherein the user can adjust the aspect with a single input. In yet another embodiment, the user may select another user-selectable user display element to view and adjust further aspects of the application in a secondary menu. Another aspect of the invention relates to a method that may be instituted to determine which applications and/or elements of applications are to be displayed within the menus.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media make media content (e.g., audio, video, or pictorial data) from multiple sources available through a single interface of a client device. The client device may be a portable media playing device (such as a laptop, Tablet PC, MP3 player, portable video player, or the like). By aggregating media content from plural sources (such as a desktop PC, a set top box, etc.) and providing a unified listing of the available media content from these multiple sources on the client device, a user can view all available media content at a single location, without making multiple connections to multiple different sources. Additionally, the user can pull media content from these multiple sources to the client device. Features also are provided to automatically synchronize, obtain, and update media content on the media source(s) and/or the client device. Various ways of handling digital rights management issues associated with copying at least some media content also are described.
