A processor processes data, voice or video signal into Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexed (OFDM) or into Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) processed data, voice or video signal. The processed position finder signal is further processed jointly with one or more of the signals generated by the first or second processed cross-correlated signal or with the processed OFDM or OFDMA signal and the jointly processed signal is provided to a quadrature modulator for quadrature modulation and transmission of the quadrature modulated signal.

The wireless unit receives and processes a position finder signal from Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite and from land based transmitter and provides processed position finder signals. The wireless unit generates a processed touch screen control signal and processes the touch screen control signal with processed position finder, TDMA and spread spectrum signal or with processed OFDM signal and provides these processed signals to a transmitter for wireless signal transmission. The processed OFDM signal is used in a Wi-Fi wireless network and the TDMA or spectrum signal is used in a cellular system, wherein the wireless network and the cellular system are distinct.

    Abstract: The problem of simpler user operation of a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) wireless communication system is solved by a system and method having touch screen operation, which does not require the use of push buttons. A processed location finder signal received from two or more Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite transmitters and from two or more land based transmitters, received in different radio frequency bands is further processed into cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase time division multiple access (TDMA) baseband signal. A signal is processed into a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and an orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) signal and into a cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase CDMA signal, wherein the TDMA and CDMA signal is used in a cellular system and the OFDM signal in a wireless system and the cellular system and the wireless system are distinct systems. The modulator comprises a non-quadrature modulator and a distinct quadrature modulator.
