Publication number: 20240037157Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of increasing security of a computer program using unstructured text. Unstructured text is received from web-based sources. The unstructured text includes user-generated posts. A machine learning model is trained by determining each keyword of a plurality of keywords in the unstructured text that corresponds to a computer program and further by determining each keyword of the plurality of keywords in the unstructured text that corresponds to a security vulnerability. The user-generated posts that are included in the unstructured text are filtered, using the machine learning model, to provide a subset of the user-generated posts such that each user-generated post in the subset includes a keyword that corresponds to the computer program and a keyword that corresponds to the security vulnerability. An action is performed based at least in part on the subset of the user-generated posts.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 28, 2022Publication date: February 1, 2024Inventors: Aditi Kamlesh SHAH, Abhilasha BHARGAV-SPANTZEL

Patent number: 11165707Abstract: In one embodiment, a process captures one or more features of an initiated application transaction within an application, and applies the one or more features to one or more application-based policies. In response to determining a policy trigger for the initiated application transaction based on applying the one or more features to the one or more application-based policies, the process may then obtain a network address associated with the application. Once the process maps the particular policy trigger from the one or more application-based policies to one or more corresponding network-based policies, then the process can instruct a network controller to apply the one or more corresponding network-based policies to the network address associated with the application, causing the network controller to configure a computer network to manage network traffic associated with the network address according to the one or more corresponding network-based policies.Type: GrantFiled: November 5, 2019Date of Patent: November 2, 2021Assignee: Cisco Technology, Inc.Inventors: Kunal Gupta, Aditya Ranjit Jagtiani, Venkata Krishna Reddy Konala, Bhuvnesh Kumar, Kamlesh Shah, James Richard Schneider

Patent number: 8050776Abstract: A method and apparatus for prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting by the simultaneous electrical stimulation of the pericardium meridian six point and pericardium meridian seven point on the ventral side of the wrist of a patient. The meridian stimulator comprises a wrist-band like housing that is worn on the ventral side of the human wrist and contains a circuitry means included within the said housing and electrically coupled to the electrodes. A negative electrode is positioned on the pericardium meridian six point and a positive electrode is placed on the pericardium meridian seven point and a low amperage current is passed through these points via electrodes positioned at these points. A liquid crystal display unit reads the current supplied to the electrodes and indicates via an indicator light when current is being supplied to the meridian stimulator and further comprises a touch screen for a power on and off button and for increasing the rate of electrical stimulations.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2009Date of Patent: November 1, 2011Inventor: Kamlesh Shah
