  • Patent number: 11815306
Abstract: A dynamic temperature regulating device is for use in association with a temperature-controlled container. The dynamic temperature regulating device includes at least one heat source, at least one heat sink, a heat transfer medium and a control system. At least one of the heat source and the heat sink is a PCM (phase change material). The heat transfer medium is in thermal communication with and operably connected to the at least one heat source and the at least one heat sink. The control system is for controlling the selective thermal communication with the at least one heat source and with the at least one heat sink to regulate the temperature of the temperature-controlled container. A detachable PCM contained volumes includes a sealed housing, a phase change material and a heat transfer medium and functions as a PCM thermal energy storage volume.

  • Patent number: 9945586
Abstract: Methods and systems for use with solar devices. The present invention may be used with solar panels, solar dishes, or any other devices for which an optimal exposure to the sun is desired. The present invention first adjusts an azimuth of the solar device until an optimal solar exposure, from an azimuth point of view, is achieved. Then, an altitude of the solar collector is adjusted until an optimal solar exposure, from an altitude point of view, is achieved. The invention also uses a load compensation mean to alleviate the amount of lifting or braking torque needed from the motor to tilt the solar collector.

  • Publication number: 20160209079
Abstract: A receiver for use with parabolic solar concentrators. The receiver consists of a heat conductive tube helically coiled into a hollow cone shape. Heat conductive fluid is pumped into an entry point in the tube and exits at an exit point from the tube. A casing is provided to cover the cone. An insulator between the cone and casing prevents heat from escaping from the coil. When deployed, the receiver is positioned such that the aperture of the cone is directed towards the parabolic solar concentrator. The receiver can be positioned so that the focus of the parabolic concentrator is outside of the cone but adjacent to the aperture. Alternatively, the receiver can be positioned so that focus of the parabolic concentrator is inside the cone but still adjacent to the aperture. To assist in the heat transfer, the inside of the cone can be colored black.

  • Publication number: 20110315686
Abstract: A refillable product dispenser system for powdered infant formula includes a reusable container having an initial product bag received in the container. Refills for the reusable container are provided in similar refill product bags which may be of lesser volume than the initial product bag. The refill bags may be packaged in a refill outer package containing two or more refill bags.
