Abstract: An access point configured to relay communications of a terminal device in a wireless network, the access point including: a request receiving unit, which receives a setting change request to change a first wireless setting, which is being set as a wireless setting of the wireless network, into a second wireless setting; a determination unit, which determines whether a second terminal device, which performs communications with the access point in accordance with the first wireless setting, is present; and a setting change unit; wherein when it is determined that the second terminal device is not present in the wireless network, the setting change unit changes from the first wireless setting to the second wireless setting in response to the setting change request, and wherein when it is determined that the second terminal device is present in the wireless network, the setting change unit keeps the first wireless setting.
