    Abstract: Provided is a culture method for a microorganism using a plate-like microchamber having a plurality of wells independent from each other on a front surface thereof. The culture method for the microorganism includes: mixing a liquid culture medium containing agarose having a gelation temperature of no less than 5° C. and no more than 20° C. and the microorganism to obtain a mixture; enclosing the mixture into the well with the front surface facing upward; and keeping the microchamber in which the mixture is enclosed in the well at a predetermined temperature range.
