The display device is capable of displaying, on one display panel, a first image that can be observed from a first direction and a second image that can be observed from a second direction, is further capable of producing a first sound corresponding to the first image and a second sound corresponding to the second image, and includes a sound adjusting section which is capable of independently adjusting the first sound and the second sound. The invention further provides a method of adjusting sounds in the display device.
