  • Patent number: 7364151
Abstract: A plate supplying apparatus 1 allows, when taking out a plate P from a cassette 2 and transporting the plate toward an image recording apparatus 8, a support section 33 to operate such that the pivot angle of the support section 33 follows an optimum path based on the type of a plate P to be transported. In addition, upon control of the pivot operation of the support section 33, it is not necessary to control the pivot position of the support section 33, and a rotation drive pulse RP is easily generated so as to synchronize with a linear motion drive pulse DP outputted from a control section of the image recording apparatus 8. In the plate supplying apparatus 1, when a plate P stored in the cassette 2 is held via suction, only suction pads 31 are brought into contact with a plate P to be transported, and when the plate P is transported by transport rollers 51 and 52, the suction pads 31 do not contact with the plate P.

  • Publication number: 20040056077
Abstract: A sheet welding machine according to the present invention comprises a wedge-shaped heater adapted to be in heat-transferable contact with edge portions of upper and lower sheets for melting the edge portions with heat, and a pair of upper and lower pressure rollers disposed in proximity to a converging portion of the heater, wherein the edge portions of the two sheets are continuously welded by the heater and the pressure rollers. The sheet welding machine has a compressed air delivery tube connected to a compressed air source, the delivery tube projecting from the converging portion at a middle part of the heater in a direction of travel of the sheets. A frontward end portion of the delivery tube extends through a nip between the pressure rollers and discharges the compressed air forwardly in the direction of travel of the sheets. The edge portions of the sheets overlapping each other are formed with continuous welded zones in two rows and the edge portions are welded together.

  • Patent number: 6139515
Abstract: The phimosis curing appliance according to the present invention allows a surplus prepuce in a pseudophimosis condition to be forcedly retracted toward a root of a human penis so that a glans of the penis can be surely kept in an exposed condition for a long time, and the appliance has a simplified structure suitable for standardization and mass production. The phimosis curing appliance 1 comprises an annulus waist holding belt 2 supportable on a human waist; a resiliently stretchable supporting belt 3 suspended from the waist holding belt to form a region through which the human penis extends; a resiliently stretchable traction belt 4 for connecting a rear portion 2b of the waist holding belt and the supporting belt; and a scrotum biasing zone 5 provided in a joint area of the supporting belt and the traction belt. An upper end portion of the supporting belt is connected to the waist holding belt and the scrotum biasing zone is drawn inward of the human groin by the traction belt.

  • Patent number: 5371691
Abstract: A photographic camera has a rectilinear approximate operation circuit for calculating characteristic correction data for correcting errors in the operational characteristics of the camera. Predetermined theoretical characteristic data dependent on operational characteristics of the camera are stored. Measured data corresponding to predetermined measured values are stored as individually measured characteristic data in a nonvolatile EEPROM so that the stored measured data can be easily changed by rewriting the EEPROM. An object signal is generated depending on an object to be photographed. The rectilinear approximate operational circuit calculates characteristic correction data from the object signal, the theoretical characteristic data and the measured characteristic data, which is then used for correcting errors in the operation characteristics of the camera.

  • Patent number: 5237364
Abstract: A camera shutter system includes a matrix memory, an arrangement for determining the initial speed of a shutter sector, and a source of exposure values. The memory stores shutter-exposure pulse data elements, and is addressed by functions of the determined speed and the exposure values. A motor coupled to the sector is controlled in response to an accessed pulse data element. The data elements may relate only to variable portions of movement of the shutter, and be added to fixed values in order to minimize the size of the memory.

  • Patent number: 5220376
Abstract: A camera shutter system has a motor driven sector for opening and closing a shutter opening. A photo-interruptor is positioned to intercept a light beam, to effect the outputting by the photo-interruptor of a signal pulse corresponding to the speed of the shutter. A memory storing exposure data, such as a matrix memory, is accessible as a function of the speed signal and an exposure quantity that is a function of the brightness of the brightness of an object to be photographed. The accessed exposure data is modified as a function of an observed exposure quantity.

  • Patent number: 5181064
Abstract: A camera shutter system has a motor driven sector for opening and closing a shutter opening. A photo-interruptor is positioned to intercept a light beam, to effect the sequential generation of first and second photo-interruptor signal pulses, the first pulse having a width that is a function of the speed of the sector. A timer has a counter that is set to a first count corresponding to an exposure value that is a function of the brightness of an object to be photographed and the width of the first photo-interruptor signal. The timer is controlled to count down in response to the second photo-interruptor signal, and the sector driving motor is energized during the count down of the timer.

A photo-interruptor is positioned to intercept a light beam, to effect the generation of a photo-interruptor signal. A timer has a counter that is set to a first count in response to the photo-interruptor signal, and is reset when a given count is reached. A shutter malfunction signal is generated when the level of the photo-interruptor signal has not changed by the time the given count is reached.
