Abstract: A color framing signal generator having a LED (light emitting diode) indicator is disclosed, wherein phase relations between a color burst signal and a horizontal sync (synchronizing) pulse of an incoming composite color video signal are indicated by the LED indicator. The generator has a mode selection switch and an adjustment volume. When the mode selection switch is changed to an adjust position, the phase of a generated color subcarrier signal to be supplied to a color frame detecting circuit is able to be shifted to more desired phase for stable color framing detection.
