  • Publication number: 20240151472
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for forming a transport mechanism for transporting at least one of a gas or a liquid. The method may comprise using a 3D printing operation to form the mechanism with an inlet and an outlet, and controlling the 3D printing operation to create the mechanism as an engineered surface structure formed in a layer-by-layer process. The method may further comprise controlling the 3D printing operation such that the engineered surface structure includes a plurality of cells propagating periodically in three dimensions, with non-intersecting, non-flat, continuously curving wall portions which form two non-intersecting domains, and where the wall portions have openings forming a plurality of flow paths extending in three orthogonal dimensions throughout from the inlet to the outlet, and such that the engineered cellular structure has wall portions having a mean curvature other than zero.

  • Patent number: 11885568
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a transport mechanism apparatus for transporting at least one of a gas or a fluid. The transport mechanism may have an inlet, an outlet and an engineered cellular structure forming a periodic nodal surface, which may include a triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) structure. The structure is formed in a layer-by-layer three dimensional (3D) printing operation to include cells propagating in three dimensions, where the cells include non-intersecting, continuously curving wall portions having openings, and where the opening in the cells form a plurality of flow paths throughout the transport mechanism from the inlet to the outlet, and where portions of the cells form the inlet and the outlet.

  • Patent number: 11574392
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an image merging system that automatically and seamlessly detects and merges missing people for a set of digital images into a composite group photo. For instance, the image merging system utilizes a number of models and operations to automatically analyze multiple digital images to identify a missing person from a base image, segment the missing person from the second image, and generate a composite group photo by merging the segmented image of the missing person into the base image. In this manner, the image merging system automatically creates merged group photos that appear natural and realistic.

  • Patent number: 10467630
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward a message classification system that allows for improved customer service through intelligent classification of social media messages. For example, the message classification system may detect one or more messages that share a common context from within a group of messages, organize the detected messages into a messaging thread, and analyze messages within the messaging thread to identify a messaging thread classification. Further, the message classification system may analyze users participating in messaging threads to determine user classifications. Using the classified messaging thread and/or user classifications, the message classification system may assist an entity in improving social media customer service.

  • Patent number: 9734451
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for automatically modeling and predicting moderator actions for online content. A model can be generated or updated based on the content received and the action or actions taken by the moderator in response to receiving the content. The model can be used to automatically predict which action, or combination of actions, are likely to be taken by the moderator when new content is received, and suggest those action(s) to the moderator. These suggestions can, among other things, simplify and speed up the decision-making process for the moderator.

  • Publication number: 20160225030
Abstract: A social analysis tool facilitates improved communications between marketers and consumers. User information for consumers is collected from social posts exchanged between consumers and moderators acting on behalf of marketers. The user information is stored in social profiles for the consumers and is available to the marketers for subsequent social conversations with the consumers. In some instances, consumers are effectively targeted for automated social replies that market a newer version of a product. Social posts relevant to the product are analyzed to identify ones in which the user sentiment indicates the user is satisfied with the product. Automated social replies are automatically generated and sent in response to each of those social posts.

  • Publication number: 20150371341
Abstract: Moderation of social content is facilitated by the generation and assignment of social feeds to moderators. An admin tool may allow an administrator to generate a social feed by defining capture rules to capture social mentions from social networking services. The administrator may also select the social networking services for the social feed. The social feed may be assigned to moderators and/or moderator groups such that the social feed and the social mentions from the social feed appear in the moderation tools of the assigned moderators. The admin tool may also allow the administrator to further manage social feeds by unassigning moderators, modifying social feeds, deleting social feeds, and controlling privileges of moderators for social feeds.

  • Publication number: 20050228981
Abstract: Systems, methods, computer-readable media and application program interfaces are disclosed for enabling server applications to verify purported authentication information, such as passwords, provided by clients in connection with server access requests by leveraging trusted credentials maintained by separate trusted authorities. In some cases, the server applications may lack trusted credentials that may be used to verify the purported authentication information. In those cases, the server applications may identify security principal accounts managed by the separate trusted authorities for which the provided authentication information may be purported to be valid for by the requesting clients. Further, the server applications may request the separate trusted authorities to authenticate the purported authentication information before granting access to the requesting clients.
