    Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure include an image forming device that: receives job information for executing a function of the image forming device from a terminal, the job information including user information; based on the user information included in the received job information, determines whether a user corresponding to the user information is permitted to use a function specified by the job information; in response to a determination that the user is permitted to use the function, executes a job based on the job information; and in response to a determination that the user is not permitted to use the function, notifies the terminal of an error. Using user information included in job information sent from the terminal, whether a corresponding user has the right to execute a job is determined, and if the user has no right, the terminal is notified of an error.
