  • Publication number: 20250114149
Abstract: An image processing system includes one or more processors comprising hardware configured to sequentially acquire time-series images captured by an endoscope, a dispose an evaluation mesh including a plurality of analysis points in a freely-selected timing image out of the time-series images, deform the evaluation mesh in each image of the time-series images so that each analysis point in each image of the time-series images tracks a characteristic point of an object located on each analysis point in the freely-selected timing image in which the evaluation mesh is disposed, calculate a deformation quantity of each cell of the evaluation mesh based on magnitude and a direction of a movement quantity of each analysis point in each image, and present information regarding deformation of the evaluation mesh based on the calculated deformation quantity.

  • Publication number: 20240423699
Abstract: A medical system includes a memory which stores a trained model, and a processor. The trained model is a model trained by training data including an endoscopic image and a contact state between a treatment tool and a tissue in the endoscopic image. The endoscopic image is captured by an endoscope which captures an image including the treatment tool and a tissue to be treated. The processor acquires the endoscopic image including the treatment tool and the tissue. The processor uses the trained model to detect, from the endoscopic image, the contact state between the treatment tool and the tissue as first information.

  • Publication number: 20240260811
Abstract: A medical system includes a treatment tool provided with an end effector that treats a tissue, an imager capturing an image of the tissue, and a processor. The processor acquires color information of a target tissue from the captured image output from the imager. The target tissue is a portion of the tissue that covers at least a portion of the end effector that has slid into the tissue. The processor estimates a force applied to the target tissue by the end effector from the color information of the target tissue. The processor notifies an operator of a result of the estimation of the force.

  • Publication number: 20230419486
Abstract: A system includes a memory that stores a trained model and a processor. The processor acquires a captured image in which at least one energy device and at least one biological tissue are imaged. The processor performs a process based on the trained model stored in the memory to estimate a heat diffusion region and a specific tissue region from the captured image. The processor determines a risk for heat damage on a specific tissue by energy output from the energy device from the estimated heat diffusion region and the estimated specific tissue region.
