  • Patent number: 11911821
Abstract: A compressed powder body comprises metal particles and an interposed substance which is interposed between the metal particles. Each of the metal particles is made of FeSiAl-based soft magnetic alloy and has a flat shape when seen along a predetermined direction. The metal particles include one or more of the metal particles each of which is formed with one or more predetermined holes. Each of the predetermined holes passes through the metal particle in the predetermined direction. Each of the predetermined holes has a maximum width in a predetermined plane perpendicular to the predetermined direction the maximum width being equal to or larger than a thickness of the metal particle with the predetermined hole in the predetermined direction.

  • Publication number: 20220108871
Abstract: A plasma processing apparatus includes: a main coil disposed on or above a plasma processing chamber; and a sub-coil assembly disposed radially inside or outside the main coil. The sub-coil assembly includes a first spiral coil and a second spiral coil. Each turn of the first spiral coil and each turn of the second spiral coil are alternately arranged in a vertical direction. A first upper terminal of the first spiral coil is connected to a ground potential via one or more capacitors, and a first lower terminal of the first spiral coil is connected to the ground potential. A second upper terminal of the second spiral coil is connected to the ground potential via one or more capacitors or one or more other capacitors, and a second lower terminal of the second spiral coil is connected to the ground potential.

  • Patent number: 8954849
Abstract: A method for supporting communication among avatars representing users in a virtual world shared by a plurality of users' client terminals and a server connected with each other through a network. The method includes the steps of: accumulating statistical information, which includes (i) a combination of a component of a message transmitted by one or more avatars and avatar motion matching the component, and (ii) a degree of usage of the combination; generating a keyword group from the components of a message transmitted by the one or more avatars in response to the transmission of the message; searching through the statistical information; obtaining one or more avatar motion candidates; and presenting the candidates to the user of the avatar. A system for supporting communication among avatars and a communication support server device in a virtual world are also provided.

  • Patent number: 8826224
Abstract: In a model editing apparatus, a model transformation function transforms SM (source model) 0 into TM (target model) 0, and generates TDM (transformation dependency model) 0. Moreover, when an SM editor generates SM1 by updating SM0, the model transformation function transforms SM1 into TM1 and generates TDM1. When a TM editor generates TM0_n by editing TM0 independently of the change in SM0, a Change element registration function registers a difference ?2 between TM0 and TM0_n in TDM0, thereby generating TDM0_n. Then, in response to a call, a merge function merges a difference ?1 between TDM0 and TDM1 extracted by a ?1 extraction function, and a difference ?2 extracted from TDM0_n, according to prestored processing patterns.

  • Patent number: 8416185
Abstract: An operational object controlling device including a motion detection unit, a motion obtaining unit, a motion feature quantities extraction unit, a template storage unit, an operational object motion storage unit, a motion feature quantities transform unit and an operational object motion obtaining unit. The motion obtaining unit obtains the user's motion detected by the motion detecting unit. The motion feature quantities extraction unit extracts the user's motion feature quantities from the obtained motion. The transform unit transforms the motion feature quantities by using a template obtained from the template storage unit. The motion feature quantities of the operational object are obtained from each of the temporal motion sequences of the operational object in the operational object motion storage unit. The operational object motion obtaining unit obtains one of the temporal motion sequences from the storage unit having the feature quantities close to the user's motion feature quantities.

  • Patent number: 8121995
Abstract: The invention provides a support system for searching for a function, including: a first storage for storing a history of at least one output parameter of each of a plurality of functions; an input section for receiving an input of an output parameter expected as an output of a function for a search; a calculating section for calculating first indexes respectively indicating proximity of the output parameter as inputted to each of those stored in the first storage, and summing the calculated first indexes for each function; and an output section for selecting, from among the plurality of functions, a function having a sum of the first indexes larger than a predetermined value, and outputting the selected function.

  • Patent number: 7908161
Abstract: A computer implemented method and a computer system implementing the method of a business process transformation wizard leads a business analyst through a series of steps to invoke business transformation patterns, in order to analyze the results of those processes. The wizard first prompts the business analyst to specify business objectives of process transformation. Required parameters are added to the business process model guided by the business process transformation wizard until the business process model is completed. Once the model is completed, the wizard prompts the business analyst to select transformation techniques or patterns for optimizing process parameters and, for each selected transformation pattern, optimizes process parameters using a selected optimization technique.
