  • Patent number: 11883570
Abstract: In a blood transfusion system (a blood transfusion kit, a blood transfusion kit for emergency blood transfusion, or a method of using a blood transfusion kit), a flow path through which blood flows is formed using a tube having a channel therein. The flow path includes: a first path that connects an upstream path and a downstream path and has a leukocyte removal filter removing leukocytes at an intermediate position of the channel; and a second path that connects the upstream path and the downstream path and bypasses the leukocyte removal filter.

  • Publication number: 20220127573
Abstract: Provided are a method for producing a platelet lysate, a production system, and a bag set capable of efficiently producing a platelet lysate with a simple device structure. According to the method for producing a platelet lysate, by which a platelet lysate (PL) that contains a growth factor contained in platelet is produced, buffy coat is collected from whole blood; the buffy coat (BC) is centrifuged to extract a supernatant, thereby collecting a platelet concentrate from which leukocyte has been removed; and, prior to freezing, the platelet concentrate is centrifuged to remove the supernatant, thereby preparing a highly concentrated platelet concentrate. The highly concentrated platelet concentrate is then frozen and thawed, and further centrifuged to recover the platelet lysate.

  • Patent number: 10751251
Abstract: A medical preparation dividing method is dividing a medical preparation stored in a storage member into a plurality of division bags by gravitational force through a primary tube, a branch portion, and a plurality of branch tubes. A medical preparation dividing unit has a curved portion formed in another end side of the primary tube, an inlet of the branch portion arranged above the curved portion, and outlets of the branch portion arranged above the inlet, in a state where the plurality of division bags is held with a holding tool.

  • Patent number: 9427563
Abstract: In a blood-flow-path switching device and a blood-bag system, a tube-shaped body (68) includes a body tube (69) extending in an axial direction and a branching tube (71) extending in a direction branching from the axial direction, and a blocking part (74) is provided in a hollow section (69c) of the body tube (69). A communicating part (70) movable in the axial direction is provided in the hollow section (69c). By moving the communicating part (70) in a pushing direction and creating an opening by penetrating the blocking part (74), a communication of a first port (86) and a third port (90) is blocked, and at the same time, the first port (86) and a second port (88) are communicated with each other.

  • Publication number: 20160106894
Abstract: The blood bag system (100) includes a first bag (101) for storing blood sampled from a donor, a first tube (106a) for transferring blood from the first bag (101), a filter (21) for reduced blood transferred from the first tube (106a), a second tube (106b) for transferring filtered blood, and a second bag (102) for storing filtered blood transferred from the second tube (106b). The first bag (101) contains a predetermined amount of air satisfying an equation: (V1+V2+V3)<(amount of air)<(V1+V2+V3+V4+V5), where V1 is a volume in the first tube, V2 is a volume of the blood inflow chamber, V3 is a void volume of the filter, V4 is a volume of the blood outflow chamber, and V5 is a volume in the second tube.
