  • Patent number: 5230057
Abstract: In a parallel computer system using a SIMD method constituted by a controller and a plurality of processor elements, each of the processor elements has a storage unit to store data to be processed, the controller controls operation of the processor elements, and the parallel computer system performs processing of the data based on a calculation control signal transmitted from the controller. The parallel computer system further a data collection unit connected between the processor elements and the controller for receiving output data from the processor elements, performing a predetermined calculation, and outputting calculated data to the controller; and a calculation control unit connected between the data collection unit and the controller for transmitting the calculation control signal from the controller to the data calculation unit to make it possible to perform the predetermined calculation in the data collection circuit.

  • Patent number: 5198987
Abstract: A wiring pattern determination system includes a label setting unit for setting labels from a starting point to an ending point by performing a labeling utilizing a maze running, and a reference point setting unit for setting a corner of a wiring pattern to be determined or the ending point as a reference point for a back trace of the maze running. The wiring-pattern-determination system has a corner judging unit for judging the next corner as the next reference point based on the label set at the reference point, a termination judging unit for judging the termination of the back trace when the starting point and the corner determined by the corner judging unit match and a reference point revising unit for instructing the reference point setting unit to set the next corner as a new reference point when the starting point and the corner determined by the corner judging unit mismatch.

  • Patent number: 4616593
Abstract: In a rotary painting machine having a number of angularly spaced barrels rotatably mounted on an indexing turntable for receiving parts to be painted and a painting station into which each of the barrels is capable of being indexed by rotating the turntable, an apparatus for supplying paint to the rotary pointing machine includes painting spray guns of a number equivalent to the number of barrels. The spray guns are arrayed in spaced side-by-side relation adjacent the painting station and are capable of being transversely reciprocated in unison to shift a predetermined spray gun into opposition with whichever of the barrels is located in the painting station, thereby allowing the batch of parts in each barrel to be sprayed with a paint prescribed for said batch.
