  • Publication number: 20170148294
Abstract: Example embodiments of the disclosed systems and methods of enclosed area alert pertain to preventing damages to infants, animals, or perishables (as non-limiting examples) in environments such as cars, enclosed trailers, or enclosed rooms. Damages may occur when environmental conditions meet extremes, such as the temperature getting too hot or too cold and/or the humidity getting too high or too low, among other environmental conditions. Example embodiments of the disclosed systems and methods (i) identify whether the items of concern (an infant, an animal or a perishable item, etc.) are present in the environment, (ii) measure the temperature and/or humidity of the environment and (iii) take alert action such as sounding an alarm, informing the owner etc.

  • Publication number: 20160269883
Abstract: A system and method for providing automated service includes a Provider App and a Customer App. The Provider App is provided by a Service Contractor for a plurality of Contracted Providers and includes related data of the Contracted Providers. The Customer App is provided to a Customer by the Service Contractor and includes Coverage Parameters for the Customer, whereby, the Customer App communicates directly to the Provider Apps, or via a Server, to provide service to the Customer via one of the Contracted Providers without the need for the Service Contractor intervening.

  • Publication number: 20080097952
Abstract: Consider a user accessing a computer system providing inputs and getting information returned. The user may be interested in getting data stored in other systems being fetched based on the input that he had already given without having to explicitly access other systems and providing input. The user desires to avoid entering the same data input multiple times. A method is proposed to get (or put) information from (to) other systems without the user providing input data more than once. The method non-invasively captures the user's input and when commanded, fetches information from other systems using the captured data without the user having to access the other systems and provide input data again. The invention focuses on Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems that are deployed at physician offices.

  • Publication number: 20060224719
Abstract: Information and data that is created, stored and operated on by various systems may be necessary for other systems but may not be readily attainable. A non-invasive interface engine is introduced that allows the data among various systems to be freely shared without the need for creating expensive and customize programs to perform data conversion or requiring the suppliers of the various system to modify the systems. The non-invasive interface engine can be interposed between processes that communicate with each other. By acting as a pass through agent, the engine can capture data from one system and provide the data to another system. This data can be reformatted and pushed to other systems, can be made available for other systems to access, or may be entered into other systems by creating script files that emulate an operator entering data into the other systems.

  • Patent number: 4847889
Abstract: An answering machine with one or more special features. These features include either means for providing multiple out-going messages, or multiple in-coming message locations, or both, with the message locations being selectable by the caller by means of preselected code sequences entered by the owner. When both portions of the present invention are present there are two sets of code sequences, one for out-going messages and another for in-coming messages. The number of digits in each code sequence can be the same or different, as can the actual codes since the detection of the proper code is time dependent on where in the cycle of the answering sequence the answering machine is at the time that the caller enters the code sequence.
