  • Patent number: 12001872
Abstract: An object tiering system transfers or tiers data objects from a data store to a cloud store. The system includes a processor and a memory having stored instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to ingest a first plurality of data objects in the data store, map a second plurality of data objects having a common tiering date to a region, and upon reaching the common tiering date, transfer the region to the cloud store. In some embodiments, the mapping is done a priori when each data object is ingested or at a first time before the common tiering date. In some embodiments, the common tiering date is a second time for transferring the second plurality of data objects from the data store to the cloud store. In some embodiments, the first plurality of objects includes the second plurality of objects.

  • Patent number: 11997334
Abstract: Techniques for dynamically determining a configuration file are described. In an example, a system receives, from a device, a request for first content to be presented by the device. The system determines metadata of the first content and a cue point indicating a start of a segment in which second content can be presented by the device. Based on the metadata and subsequent to the request, the system determines a configuration of the segment. The configuration includes: a duration of the segment, a sequence of slots in the segment, and/or a content duration usable in a slot of the segment. The system generates a configuration file that includes the metadata and the configuration, determines the second content based at least in part on the configuration file, and sends data about the first content and the second content to the device.

  • Patent number: 11989358
Abstract: Touch-based input devices, such as a stylus, can receive tactile input from a user. The tactile input functions can be performed by a touch sensor, such as a capacitive sensing device. A touch sensor can be integrated into a stylus in a low profile form. Tactile input can be received at the user's natural grip location. Furthermore, the stylus can effectively distinguish between tactile inputs from a user and disregard sustained tactile inputs that are provided while the user simply holds the stylus at the user's natural grip location.

  • Publication number: 20240143505
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for dynamic selection of super queue size for CPUs with higher number of cores. An apparatus includes a plurality of compute modules, each module including a plurality of processor cores with integrated first level (L1) caches and a shared second level (L2) cache, a plurality of Last Level Caches (LLCs) or LLC blocks and a plurality of memory interface blocks interconnect via a mesh interconnect. A compute module is configured to arbitrate access to the shared L2 cache and enqueue L2 cache misses in a super queue (XQ). The compute module further is configured to dynamically adjust the size of the XQ during runtime operations. The compute module tracks parameters comprising an L2 miss rate or count and LLC hit latency and adjusts the XQ size as a function of these parameters. A lookup table using the L2 miss rate/count and LLC hit latency may be implemented to dynamically select the XQ size.

  • Patent number: 11663556
Abstract: Techniques for generating an item transmission portal are described herein. First information for a plurality of carriers may be maintained which includes a capacity for each carrier. Historical capacity requirements for geographic locations may be maintained. For each geographic location a forecast of future capacity requirements, for each week of a plurality of weeks, may be generated based on the historical capacity requirements. A plurality of documents may be generated for each geographic location based on the forecast and the first information. A value may be determined for each document based on a time and capacity commitment for each document, the historical capacity requirements, and the forecast. A user interface may be generated that includes the plurality of documents and corresponding determined values. The user interface may be updated to reflect acceptance of a specific document by a carrier in response to input received via the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20230064623
Abstract: The invention provides a method for deriving a biometric parameter of a fetal heart. The method includes acquiring a plurality of ultrasound images of a region of interest, wherein the region of interest comprises a fetal heart and comparing the plurality of ultrasound images to a predefined clinical view. A group of ultrasound images related to the predefined clinical view are selected based on the comparison, wherein the group of ultrasound images represents at least one cardiac cycle. An anatomical landmark of the fetal heart is detected within an ultrasound image of the group of ultrasound images and the anatomical landmark of the fetal heart is detected or tracked across the group of ultrasound images. A biometric parameter of the fetal heart is then determined based on the detected or tracked anatomical landmark from one or more ultrasound images of the group of ultrasound images.
