  • Publication number: 20250025300
Abstract: Devices including a capsule having an interior and a clamp assembly including a plurality of clamps. Each clamp includes a first arm having a first free end and a second arm having a second free end. The device includes a clamp assembly including a compacted state in which the plurality of clamps are compressed within the capsule and a deployed state in which at least the free ends of the plurality of clamps are positioned outside of the interior of the capsule. The first free end is closer to the second free end in the compacted state as compared to the deployed state. The device can further include a push rod releasably secured to the clamp assembly and a delivery rod releasably secured to the capsule. Methods of using the devices are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240285406
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include systems including an anchor including a body having a distal end, a proximal end and an opening extending from the proximal end to the distal end. The distal end includes a plurality of flanges, each flange including a proximal barb and a distal barb; the anchor having a natural arrangement in which the distal barbs of the plurality of flanges converge to form a pointed tip. The system further includes a rod that can be inserted in the opening to force the distal barbs away from a longitudinal axis of the opening into a delivery arrangement. The rod can also be used to retrieve an anchor after deployment. Such anchors can be utilized with annuloplasty implants. Methods of deploying and retrieving anchors of the disclosure are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240225838
Abstract: Aspects include systems having an implant (e.g., annuloplasty implant) and a delivery device. The delivery device includes a delivery catheter and a sizing device. The sizing device has a frame including a plurality of struts and a plurality of anchor housings interconnected to at least one respective strut. An anchor is positioned within each of the anchor housings in a delivery arrangement. In the delivery arrangement, the sizing device and the implant are positioned within the catheter and each anchor is within one of the plurality of anchor housings. The delivery device further having an adjustment arrangement in which the implant, anchors and at least a portion of the sizing device are positioned outside of the catheter. The delivery device further having a deployed arrangement in which the frame is disconnected from the anchors and the frame is withdrawn into the delivery catheter. Related methods are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220362022
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include bodily lumen reshaping and reduction systems, devices and methods. Such implants can include a plurality of anchors serially interconnected with a cinching member. Delivery devices of the disclosure are configured to deploy a first anchor into tissue. The delivery device can then deploy a second anchor and wind the cinching member around the second anchor to reduce a distance between the first and second anchors, placating the tissue between the anchors. Additional anchors can be similarly deployed and the cinching member can be similarly adjusted to reshape the lumen. Methods of deploying and reshaping a bodily lumen are also disclosed. In various examples, the bodily lumen is a heart valve, atrial appendage, portion of a gastrointestinal tract or urethra. Various embodiments include one or more anchors having a ratchet assembly or the like to substantially prevent the cinching member from unwinding.

  • Publication number: 20220354650
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include systems and devices for delivering an annuloplasty implant and anchor delivery apparatus to a valve annulus. The systems and devices of the disclosure are configured to dispense and secure or anchor the implant to the valve annulus. Various implants of the disclosure include one or more cinching members that can be tensioned to reshape the valve annulus. Methods of deploying the implant, securing the implant to the valve annulus and reshaping the valve annulus are also disclosed.
