  • Patent number: 11831793
Abstract: A method for mutual authentication that includes establishing a first inductive coupling between a wireless-power receiver and a wireless-power transmitter to transfer power from the wireless-power transmitter to the wireless-power receiver by a power signal and using the power signal to transmit a first response to a physically unclonable function to the wireless-power transmitter. The method further including generating a second response to the physically unclonable function and communicating information derived from the second response to initiate a mutual authentication process between the wireless-power receiver and the wireless-power transmitter during a subsequent inductive coupling.

  • Publication number: 20190334366
Abstract: An analog ping signal that is present at a secondary coil of a power receiving device operating within a wireless power transmission system is detected. The detection circuit includes a DC blocking circuit having an input directly connected to a terminal of the secondary coil. A comparator circuit has an input coupled to an output of the DC blocking circuit. A timer circuit is reset by a signal output by the comparator circuit to assert a ping detect signal in response to a resetting of the timer circuit. The ping detect signal is deasserted in response to a timing out of the timer circuit.

  • Patent number: 7634732
Abstract: Methods and systems provide for aggregating person-centric data from one or more data sources and for providing the aggregated data to a user via a computer-displayed user interface that is keyed on or otherwise associated with an identified name in electronically presented text or data. A name in the text or data of an electronic document is identified and is associated with a unique identification, such as an electronic mail address. The unique identification is used by a persona menu application to obtain person-centric data from a variety of data sources. Example data sources include electronic mail contact files, electronic mail and calendaring system free/busy status files, directories of person-centric data related to persons associated with a distributed computing network, and instant messaging files. A data structure is populated with the returned data.

  • Patent number: 7231436
Abstract: Automation objects are implemented in a client-server model to control operations on one or more client machines from a single machine automation control module, such as a test program. The machine automation control module instantiates machine automation server objects in a server process. The control module can then instruct the server objects to instantiate corresponding machine automation client objects on specified client machines via a connection mechanism. Object-oriented automation classes are provided in a library and may be extended to meet customized requirements of a given testing procedure. Examples of automation objects may include, without limitation, application objects, machine image objects, snapshot objects, file and registry access objects, reboot objects, autologon objects, and command execution objects. Automation objects allow the re-establishment of remote control after the loss of control resulting from a reboot, a relogon, or a disk image restoration, for example.

  • Patent number: 4171412
Abstract: The invention relates to specific sorbents based on hydrophylic polymeric gels, preferably of a macroporous character, which carry covalently bonded D-aminoacid or peptide which contain D-aminoacid units. The basic carrier prepared by copolymerization of hydroxyalkyl esters or hydroxyalkylamides of acrylic and methacrylic acid with crosslinking acrylate or methacrylate comonomers are modified by the reaction with diamines, aminoacids or dicarboxylic acids and the resulting carboxyterminal or aminoterminal groups are condensed with D-analogs of aminoacids or peptides. The peptide containing D-aminoacids can be also stepwise synthetized on the surface of the carrier. The specific sorbents are further used as insolubilized inhibitors in the affinity chromatography of proteolytic enzymes. They do not undergo an irreversible inactivation during repeated application and are suitable for technological purposes because of their mechanical and hydrolytical stability.
