Abstract: A system, method and a program product includes configuring a tracking beacon device for associating the tracking beacon device to an entity to be tracked and an owner of the tracking beacon device. The tracking beacon being at least partially implanted into the entity, and the system detects when it is departing a determined boundary. A notification of the escape event is transmitted. The device notifies a monitoring service provider to monitor a signal broadcasted by the tracking beacon and activates a computing device application to receive a communication from the monitoring service provider. The communication at least includes a location for the signal. The tracking beacon is activated to broadcast the signal.
