Abstract: A method (and corresponding equipment) for use by a device (10) in establishing a network connection on behalf of an application (14a-d) hosted by the device (10), including: a step (23b) of obtaining information about currently active cellular network systems, which may include information about connections currently in use; and a step (24) of deciding whether to allow establishing the connection based on factors including the information about currently active cellular network systems. The information about connections currently in use may include identifiers for applications using the connections currently in use. The factors can also include the identity of the application making the request and the identities of the applications using connections currently in use, so as to make the decision as to whether or not to allow establishing the connection after taking into account the importance and type of the different applications contending for the network resources (connections).

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling a suspend state concerning a terminal device (MS) that is provided with both circuit-switched and packet-switched services by a communication network but that can only use: either the circuit-switched or the packet-switched service at a time. In a situation in which the terminal device (MS) enters into the suspend state in the packet-switched service in order to use the circuit-switched service, the method includes supplying information about the terminal device's (MS) entry into the suspend state to a gateway node of said communication network, such as a Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN) of a GPRS network.

In particular, the method is used to stack articles having different thicknesses at different ends in the direction of their plane. A stack portion is gripped by a gripping device and rotated 180° from the direction of an adjacent stack portion.

Abstract: In a method for packaging flat articles, articles are brought in a continuous stack (P) along a support level to a grouping station so that their planes are upright from the support level, wherein product batches to be placed in a package, such as a box, are separated from the stack by an automatic grouping device. For grouping articles having different thicknesses at different ends in the direction of their plane, a stack portion (OP) is separated from the stack, the stack portion is gripped by a gripping device, and it is rotated around one axis so that its direction deviates from the original. The first stack portions (OP) so rotated are placed next to such second stack portions, whose directions in relation to said one axis deviate 180.degree. from the direction of the first stack portions, and the first and second stack portion so placed next to each other are formed to the product batch to be placed in the package.
