  • Publication number: 20140191077
Abstract: Spooling machine including two side frames spaced at a horizontal distance by a telescopic spacer beam, each frame having a pintle on supports for bearing a drum for cable pipe or hose, the telescopic spacer beam including at least one outer tube and at least one inner tube, which are slidably and telescopically one inside the other, and a locking device positioned between the outer tube and the inner tube for locking the outer and inner tube in adjustable position. The locking device includes a split part of the inner tube extending over a part of the length of the inner tube and dividing the inner tube into sections, and a force element for creating a swelling force on the split part of the inner tube to press the sections against the inner surface of the outer tube.

  • Publication number: 20110259284
Abstract: A boiler (1) comprising at least: a furnace (2), in whose lower part the combustion used as the primary source of thermal energy of the boiler is configured to take place; devices (6) for supplying fuel into the furnace; devices (3, 7, 8, 26) for supplying combustion air into the furnace; one or more flue gas ducts (11); at least one chamber (17) accommodating at least one steam superheater (15) for recovering thermal energy. Said chamber is configured to allow a direct line of sight (16) between said superheater and said primary source, to enable the reception of thermal energy by means of thermal radiation. Said chamber is further configured to prevent the entry of said flue gases (19) to said superheater either totally or almost totally, to avoid the reception of thermal energy by convection.

  • Publication number: 20060065173
Abstract: A method for shielding the inner surface above the shield refractory (4) of the furnace wall (3) of a circulating fluidized bed boiler from erosion caused by suspension flows, in which method a shield structure is formed on the inner surface of the boiler wall. At least a first zone (1) and a second zone (2) are formed in the shield structure, the erosion-resistance properties of which zones differ from each other. In addition the invention relates to a circulating fluidized bed boiler, which comprises a corresponding shield structure.

  • Patent number: 5855736
Abstract: Method of reducing corrosion in a power boiler of a pulp mill using biofuel and suspended matter obtained from the waste water treatment of the mill. In the method flue gases obtained from a waste heat boiler are fed into the power boiler, causing the sulfur dioxide contained in them to react with the alkali chlorides in the boiler and the chlorine to form hydrogen chloride.
