  • Publication number: 20240129170
Abstract: To enable spectrum shaping also when excess band is used, at least one set of spectral flatness requirements amongst two or more sets comprises at least at least a first parameter value for a first in-band range, at least a second parameter value for a second in-band range and at least a third parameter value for the excess band range, and a set to be used is selected at least based on information on the use of the excess band.

  • Publication number: 20240072948
Abstract: According to example embodiments, a method may include transmitting, by a user device to a wireless network node, data via a plurality of uplink component carriers including at least a first uplink component carrier and a second uplink component carrier; wherein a first subset of physical resource blocks for the first component carrier is contiguous with a second subset of physical resource blocks for the second component carrier; wherein the first component carrier and the second component carrier have a same power spectral density; and applying a modified radio frequency requirement by the user device wherein the modified radio frequency requirement impacts a transmission power of the first uplink component carrier and of the second uplink component carrier.

  • Patent number: 10351930
Abstract: The present invention according provides a method of recovering silver from silver containing halide solutions, comprising the steps of: (a) providing an ion exchange column comprising a weak anion exchange resin; (b) introducing the silver containing halide solution to the ion exchange column to absorb silver in the weak anion exchange resin; (c) washing the loaded ion exchange resin with a first washing solution to rinse off absorbed zinc and optionally at least part of copper; (d) washing the loaded ion exchange resin with a second washing solution to rinse off remaining copper; and (e) optionally washing the loaded ion exchange resin with a third washing solution to rinse off absorbed lead; and (f) eluting the loaded ion exchange resin with an eluent to remove silver from the resin and to obtain a silver containing solution.

  • Patent number: 10174400
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and apparatus for recovering metals from metalliferous starting materials comprising steps of i) leaching the metalliferous starting material in chloride-based leaching liquor, ii) withdrawing from the leaching step i) aqueous chloride solution with dissolved metals, iii) recovering metal value from the aqueous chloride solution in a metal recovery process step, iv) neutralizing hydrogen chloride content of the aqueous chloride solution in the metal recovery process step with adding hydrolyzed ammonia to the process solution so as to form ammonium chloride, v) withdrawing ammonium chloride containing process solution to an ammonium regeneration step where calcium-containing reagent is added to generate calcium chloride and ammonia gas and recycling ammonia back to the metal recovery process step iii), vi) regenerating the CaCl2-solution with H2SO4 so as to provide a aqueous HCl solution for recycling to the leaching step i).

  • Patent number: 10060007
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for preparing a gold-containing solution by chloride leaching from gold-bearing raw materials. A further object of the invention is to provide a method for recovering gold and optionally silver from the prepared gold-containing solution. The invention relates also to a process arrangement for recovering gold and optionally silver.

  • Patent number: 10023936
Abstract: Provided is a method of recovering copper and one or more precious metals comprising leaching copper-bearing ore and/or concentrate under atmospheric or slightly pressurized conditions at a temperature below the boiling point of the leach solution in a sulfuric acidic solution in the presence of one or more alkali metal or alkali earth metal halides, whereby the total halide concentration is from 30 to 115 g/L, to dissolve copper and to obtain a leaching liquor comprising copper, sulfur species, and halides in solution. The leaching liquor is then subjected to a solid-liquid separation after which a first aqueous pregnant leach solution and a copper depleted leaching residue are obtained. Copper is purified by solvent extraction from the first aqueous pregnant leach solution to obtain a first copper-containing loaded organic solution and a first aqueous raffinate. The copper containing loaded organic solution is stripped and copper is recovered.
