  • Publication number: 20070270174
Abstract: A transceiver with amplification control comprises the following. A coupler samples a part of a radio frequency signal proceeding between an amplifier unit and an antenna of the transceiver. A converter down converts the sampled radio frequency signal. A measuring unit measures strength of the down converted radio frequency signal. A controller controls at least one parameter of the amplifier unit as a function of the measured strength.

  • Patent number: 6597352
Abstract: A method and a device for filtered sync signals detection wherein a timing circuit is used to select the steep slope portion in one or both of the leading edge and the trailing edge of the sync signals; a voltage divider or feedback path to set a triggering point at the steep slope portion of the selected edge regardless the slope being positive or negative; and a triggerable device is used to generate new sync signals with the leading edge of each sync pulse starts at one triggering point and the trailing edge starts at another triggering point. Alternatively, a micro-controller is used to detect the polarity of the sync signals and accordingly provide a reference voltage in order to set the triggering point at the leading edge of the sync signals.

  • Patent number: 6404423
Abstract: Control of display power management by a host computer connected by a standard cable to a display monitor can be avoided by simply detecting user inactivity within a monitor or signaling such to the monitor with any one of the DPMS signals to the monitor, such as the video signal, i.e., the video intelligence signal occurring between horizontal synchronization pulses. In the absence of the video signal, the monitor commences timing of several display power management states without further reference to the DPMS signaling signals, except to monitor whether the video signal returns to normal. In the absence of a return to normal on the video signal, the display monitor transitions from a normal state to a standby state, thence to a suspend state, and finally to an off state. If user activity is again detected, a transition from any of these display power management states to normal is made.

  • Patent number: 5352959
Abstract: A method and a circuit for generating the control voltages of the dynamic convergence in a color display tube, in which the current of the convergence coils (HC, VC) is controlled. The control voltages for the convergence coils (HC, VC) are obtained from several controlling means (1-16). A voltage independent of the horizontal and vertical deflection frequencies is switched to the control means.(1-16). The voltage from each controlling means (1-16) is switched to the coils (HC, VC) by signals (f.sub.ch, f.sub.cv) synchronized to the horizontal and vertical deflection pulses (f.sub.h, f.sub.v), whereby the convergence of different parts (a1-a16) of the display is controlled by a voltage provided by a separate controlling means (1-16).
