  • Publication number: 20200093393
Abstract: A bioelectric interface for monitoring, detection and transmission of detected ECG data is provided comprising a sensory system for detecting bio-physiological measurements utilizing spatially resolved potential profiles obtained from a localized cluster of sub-electrodes to form constituent sets of miniature sensor arrays. Using only a single macro-electrode, two or more sets of sub-electrode arrays are used to measure bipolar spatial gradients obtained from measured cardiac potentials. The sets of sub-electrodes containing the clusters are optimized to attain measurable gradients of diagnostic value. A minimax procedure allows bio-potential sensory acquisition through a bi-directional digital steering process, which essentially comprises monitoring, detection, selection, grouping, recording and transmission of ECG waveform characteristic data.

  • Publication number: 20150201858
Abstract: A diatrophic, bio-physiological interface is self-contained with onboard intensification, filtering, and signal processing and is wirelessly enabled (idio-electrode), with multiple sensory system for bio-physiological measurements, described herein utilizes spatially resolved potential profiles from a cluster of mini electrodes to form constituent sets comprising mini sensorial electrodes. The sets of sub electrodes containing the clusters are jointly optimized to attain measurable gradient of some diagnostic value. The present invention provides a distinct lead-free single electrode that is rotationally invariant with onboard Digital Signal Processor for arrhythmia detection, source encoding, and passive and active wireless transmission.

  • Publication number: 20040006265
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention a combination of electrode patch is provided for the acquisition, detection, and compaction of the 12 leads EKG data and XYZ over a severely band limited channels such as the US cellular channels. The integrity (reduced error rates of data and maintenance of connectivity for physician and heath care professional continuously monitoring remote patient experiencing heart attack (MI)) of this data is vital to immediate decisions regarding therapy indication or contraindication as to the administration of thrombolytic therapy. Furthermore, novel High frequency relying on spatio-frequency decomposition of the averaged signal and thereby detection algorithms are also presented for early detection of ischemia and provides measures of predictive accuracies. Thrombolytic therapy is the clinical therapy used to manage acute heart attacks.

  • Patent number: 6073046
Abstract: A medical facility after discharge of a cardiovascular patient, can remain in contact with the patient. The patient is provided with a multiple lead EKG terminal spread placed on the body, and the signals therefrom are collected and transmitted. They are transmitted to a remote central location. At the central location, the transmitted EKG data is analyzed. It is compared with normal EKG signals and signals captured in time from the same patient as part of the patient history. The evaluation is done through a neural network which forms an output signal automatically or through intervention of a cardiologist sending an alarm condition signal to the patient instructing the patient to get immediate treatment at the patient's location or to otherwise go to a specific medical facility. Signal preparation includes providing EKG signals through a multiplexer, conversation into a digital data, removal of bias signals, stabilization of this EKG base line, compression and data transmission through a modulator.
