  • Patent number: 9404014
Abstract: The process to prepare a storage stable aqueous co-dispersion of epoxy resins and at least a silane oligomer is given. This aqueous co-dispersion of epoxy resins with a silane as part A, of a curable paint composition in which the part B comprises a hardener and optionally pigments and additives. This epoxy resins with the silane provide equal performance even after several months' storage.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 24, 2013
Date of Patent: August 2, 2016
    Assignee: HEXION INC.
Inventors: Françoise Heine, Karin Van Poppel, Marc J. Rans, Nathalie Wauters

  • Publication number: 20030083438
Abstract: An adhesive composition is described having an amine-modified, low acid ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer with a melt flow index (MI) of 1.5 or less. Preferably, the acid copolymer has an acid content between 2 and 5 wt % and an amine content between 0.05 and 0.5 wt %. The adhesive is useful for bonding with an aliphatic polyketone copolymer such as an ethylene-carbon monoxide copolymer.
